When you place an order with Red Diamond Rentals, you agree to the following terms and conditions...
CONDITION OF ITEMS: Red Diamond Rentals is responsible for assuring that the items listed on the invoice of this contract will be available and in good condition on the scheduled day.
PAYMENT: Balance should be paid in full on the date of the event, prior to taking possession of the items. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. If you pay by check, we still require a credit card on file in case of damage or returned checks. Returned checks are subject to a $25 service fee.
LOSS, DAMAGE & LIABILITY: The Renter is responsible for any loss or damage to the rental items. His/her liability will not exceed the potential residual value of the Item, as defined in good faith or contractually.
In the event that the Renter returns the Item in a bad and/or poorly maintained condition (which cannot be described as the result normal rental use), requiring special cleaning or attention, the Renter will be liable to pay the cost of cleaning or potential maintenance carried out by a professional specialist. This service provider will be chosen by the Owner.
The Renter is the sole custodian of the items during the Rental Contract and is therefore responsible for any damage that the item could cause to the Renter or a third party. In the event of injury, damage or loss due to Customer negligence, Customer agrees and assumes the duty to mitigate all costs resulting from said injury, damage, or loss. Red Diamond Rentals is not responsible for any accidents incurred for the improper use or handling of any of the rental equipment.
CANCELLATION & CHANGES TO ORDER: When an order was placed, the equipment was reserved, held and prepared, making us unable to rent the items to someone else. Any order canceled within 7 days of your scheduled delivery will be charged the full rental price of any items reserved. Custom ordered linens cannot be canceled once ordered.
Any reductions to the item quantities received within 14 days of the event will be subject to a fee. If you need to increase quantities or add items, we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
Tents: Tent permits are the responsibility of the client, unless otherwise listed on this contract. Red Diamond Rentals reserves the right to cancel your tent order in the case of extreme weather, in which case the renter will not be charged.
LINENS: Linens will be delivered in good condition. The customer will be charged for linens damaged by ink, wax spots, burns/scorches or holes, etc. that render the owner unable to use them again. Linens should be free of food but not laundered. Wet items should not be placed in plastic bags.
DISHES: Dishes must be rinsed clean and free of food upon return/pick-up. (We do not expect you to put them in the dishwasher, but they must be ready to go straight in ours.) Additional charges will apply if dishes are not returned free of food.
DELIVERY: Red Diamond Rentals agrees to deliver and pick up the items at the event location on the scheduled delivery day. Red Diamond Rentals has true right to enter the property address for delivery and subsequent pick up. Customer must inform us PRIOR to delivery if there are special requirements for accessing the event location, such as steep/narrow driveways, stairs, or limited access to site.
SET UP & TAKE DOWN: As a service to our customers, Red Diamond Rentals offers free set up and take down on most rental items. Linens, dishes and lighting are not eligible for free set up. Event location must be within 100 feet of an accessible drop off location and have ground floor access to be eligible for free set up and take down. In the case that your event does not meet these requirements, additional charges will apply OR the items will be dropped and stacked at the drop off point and must be returned the same way for pick up. Someone must be present at time of delivery to direct the crew on location of set up.
WEATHER: Red Diamond Rentals cannot guarantee weather conditions. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your rental prior to delivery if severe weather conditions are imminent or if we have any reason to believe that the equipment and/or its users may be in danger.
